Motorcycle Maintenance
|
Any good motorcycle rider takes great pride in what is bike looks like. Keep the bike running smoothly with best quality motorcyle parts. Every weekend they are out there washing and polishing it. Armor all the motorcycle seats and motorcycle handle bars, making sure the bike shines like the sun. Not only is taking care of the outside of the bike necessary but the motorcycle engine should be well maintained too.
You want to change the oil every three months as you would a car, then you want to make sure every fluid is checked. Change the spark plugs every year, if you are making a long trip, you want to change them just to refresh for the ride. Make sure all of the belts are tight and not worn. Change any even slightly worn belts for safety.
Make sure the brakes system is in good working order, you don’t want to be on a trip or even on a local highway and your brakes fail. You also want to check your motorcycle tires, make sure they are not worn or losing their treads. Tire care is very important when riding a motorcycle. Safety should be the most important thing on a riders mind whether in local traffic or on a big highway.
